Episode 6: Top 5 Songs Featuring A Saxophone
When you think of rock and roll’s defining instruments, saxophone isn’t typically high on the list. Sometimes, however, a song will use the instrument in amazing ways. This episode counts down the best of those songs, where the presence of a saxophone makes all the difference. Also, we’re featuring yet another band that you need to know (or else!) – this time, it’s British prog-rockers Pure Reason Revolution. Big thanks to them for letting us put them on the show. You can read our individual picks after the jump.
Also, we’re premiering a whole new level of sound quality, thanks to the great people at Skype. We’re still working out all the sound issues, but the room noise is pretty much a thing of the past! Hooray!
